I grew up in Copenhagen, studied in Aarhus and moved to Berlin for a darkroom I could afford. I still shoot mostly in black and white, because colour tells you what to feel and I would rather you decided.

My work moves between dance, fashion and portraiture. The common thread is people at the edge of a performance: the breath before the jump, the slouch after the show.

These days I split my time between commissions, my own long-term series and teaching a small portrait workshop every spring.
